Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy Induces Inflammatory Activity in Large Arteries
Data from a retrospective analysis of 20 patients with melanoma treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) demonstrated significantly increased FDG-uptake in the large arteries, which may explain the increased occurrence of cardio-cerebrovascular complications among patients receiving ICIs.
